Greg has put his award-winning communications skills to work for Visa, U.S. Bank, Pixar, start-up companies, political campaigns, and for events at the Summer Olympic Games and Indianapolis 500.
An accomplished media-relations professional, Greg has generated significant visibility for emerging and brand-name
companies via The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Sacramento Bee, San Francisco Chronicle, The Mercury News, ABC News, CNBC, CNN, CBS Radio News and other prominent news organizations. And he has guided companies through a range of issues and crises since starting his career in 1989.
Greg has also managed political campaigns, and often comments on local and regional issues.
Before founding Jones Public Relations in 2004, Greg was director of corporate relations for Visa USA, where he oversaw communications for a number of business units, managed corporate issues and led key activities at major events.
Greg also contributed to the growth of an emerging industry—online insurance. As vice president of
PR for InsWeb, he directed consumer and industry campaigns, and headed a successful corporate-reputation initiative.
Earlier in his career, Greg worked for prominent PR agencies, garnering five industry awards, and securing regional and national publicity for U.S. Bank, White & Case, American Suzuki Automotive, Oregon Scientific and other clients. He also managed PR and marketing programs for a leading Indy-car race team, and a franchise in the American Professional Soccer League.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound. Active in his community, Greg serves on the board of directors for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) El Dorado and the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee. He and his family live in El Dorado Hills, Calif.
